          If Bones had been around, he would have pointed out the vein slowly beginning to bulge in his forehead, the one that appeared when he was genuinely frustrated. As if that wasn’t a big enough giveaway of how not joking the captain was, Jim’s jaw clenched as he fought down his temper into something a bit more reasonable.

        Even if he had every right to be as angry as he was. He wouldn’t deny that he’d done some pretty stupid things before, some not particularly legal too- but the laws he broke, only affected him and a dick of a person. Not innocent people, or innocent animals.

        He was probably going to have an aneurism one of these days.

            “Do you have any idea- no, you do, you’re not stupid. Just- why. Why did you go along with it and not tell someone.”
