Wow, junk food and cravings
Yikes man. Too much junk food lately. I live with my grandma, and her Egyptian husband. One of the issues that I’ve been running in to lately is that all the food they make is distinctly not American standard. Most every dinner tastes like tomatoes, green beans, or simply nothing at all. It should be considered cruel and unusual. Anyway, to make up for the profound lack of taste, I’ve been eating fast food. Lots...and lots...of fast food. I’ve noticed it in my bank account, pants size, and bra spillage. Most of all though, I’ve noticed it in my energy levels. I have an abundance of energy right after I eat, and then I have absolutely no energy until the next time I eat. Awful. So, in the spirit of enlarging my bank account balance and shrinking just about everything else, I need to get this under control. I’m putting a food cooler in my trunk (since I’m not allowed to have anything with sugar in it inside the house, and no I’m not exaggerating. I can’t even have bread) to keep some sweeter/more flavorful things that I can feel good about snacking on to stay sane. Also, oatmeal by itself is the worst breakfast ever in terms of energy output. Suggestions of things to go with oatmeal, besides oranges and bananas?
