todays episode of “problems i’m gonna have with transitioning”
I looked “how to inject testosterone” online and started crying when i saw a very informational and not at all misinformative instructional comic abut injecting testosterone.
but Les, why were you crying? this is exactly what you were looking for!
why you ask?
I saw the needle and imagined injecting it myself
then i remembered I’m scared of needles

The Needle Phobia Page is a starting point for overcoming the fear of needles and needle procedures. This (often complex) condition ranges from a fear of needles to a fear of the reaction of one's body to needle procedures.
A rude "Just cheer up!" command to a patient suffering from clinical depression would now be considered as serious medical malpractice. If those who suffer from needle phobia ever become active in educating the medical profession about their condition, the "Just get over it!" command to a needle phobic will also someday be considered to be serious medical malpractice. For now, it is up to those who suffer from needle phobia to educate the medical profession about the seriousness and the magnitude of this problem.
Also, from a different source:
HERE ARE THE SIX MEDICAL TERMS THAT ARE RELATED TO FEARING NEEDLES:
1. Aichmophobia: an intense or morbid fear of sharp or pointed objects
2. Algophobia: an intense or morbid fear of pain
3. Belonephobia: an abnormal fear of sharp pointed objects, especially needles
4. Enetophobia: a fear of pins
5. Trypanophobia: a fear of injections
6. Vaccinophobia: a fear of vaccines and vaccinations
also!! if you're mutuals with me, please please please tag pictures of needles or sharp pointed objects piercing skin,,, tag it as either needles or enetophobia.,,
Aichmophobia
Aichmophobia – fear of sharp or pointed objects (such as a needle or knife) Aichmophobia (pronounced [īk-mō-fō′bē-ă]) is a kind of specific phobia, the morbid fear of sharp things, such as pencils, needles, knives, a pointing finger, or even the sharp end of an umbrella. It is derived from the Greek aichmē (point) and phobos (fear). This fear may also be referred to as belonephobia or enetophobia. Sometimes this general term is used to refer to what is more specifically called fear of needles, or needle phobia. Fear of needles is the extreme and irrational fear of medical procedures involving injections or hypodermic needles. Source (may contain potentially upsetting images)
