I wanted to ask about how you see Eva as an INFP. I don't see Eva (Skam) as an INFP. The Fi dom is okay but not really an intuitive. She was the girl who liked to dress well and go to the parties and had a fair amount of Se. She lived more in the moment than in the world of ideas.

Dressing well and going to parties is neither here nor there when it comes to whether someone is a sensor or not, so I don’t see your point. Enfj and I don’t focus on superficial things like interests or behaviors so much as we do on the thought processes behind those things, so we focus primarily on season 1 because that’s the one that allows us to be in her head. And in that season we see that she projected her guilt (Fi) about her having cheated (Si) onto Jonas. I’ve never met an Se user who allows the past to interfere with the present in such a way. She only takes in and thinks about the information that supports how she feels, which shows poor use of extroverted perception and lower Te failure to establish facts independent of feelings. This information is used to imagine the worst case scenario, which happens to be the one that she herself feels guilty about (intuition being warped to support her Fi-Si loop).

Both Ne and Se are “in the moment” (they are both extroverted perceiving functions), but Ne has a harder time getting a grasp on the perceptual facts and staying grounded in reality. It is more likely to read between the lines of what’s going on, even if that reading is flawed. Remember when she went to the cabin with Jonas? She spent the whole time worked up over her warped intuitions. But the key concept here is her inability to process her past experience healthily. This is the biggest sign that she is Fi-Si and not Fi-Ni. At the end of the season she must stop letting her attachment to the past screw up her present, which is what all Si-loopers have to do.

At this point I’m just rehashing what we already explained in the original post, so unless you want to tell us why you think she has Se there’s not much else to say. And if you really believe it’s because of how she dresses and socializes, then tell us how you think those things are related to Se.

Staying Friends After Breakup

Friends: Don’t you think you should stay away from each other for a while?

Therapist: You should take the time to heal first.

Basically everyone: Maybe a break would be good before you start trying to be friends again.
