With only a minimum of struggling, Reinhardt managed to close the buckle on the last strap with a satisfying little click. Even fully extended the harness was straining to stay closed around his herculean build. Angela was going to absolutely murder him but with any luck she might at least laugh a bit first, and that would make this little bit of stupidity all worthwhile. She should, after all, know better than to allow him to tidy her equipment room unsupervised.

“Angela!” He called, stepping out into the main laboratory, the trainer set of valkyrie suit wings flapping pathetically behind him as he turned his back to her and struck a pose “Tell me, how do I look?”

He checked the rifle for what was left in the magazine. Mission complete with bullets to spare, not bad. He slung the rifle over his shoulder as Fareeha landed and jogged forward a few steps. She dusted herself off and Jack turned at the sound of his name. Few people followed the security guard into the air. Angela was indeed the one who had followed after her, trajectory aimed at the soldier. She was descending quickly, wings flared only halfway and fabric trailing after her.

Having barely enough time to get his arms up to catch her, he was pushed back a few steps when she landed against him. Her arms wrapped around his shoulders and he caught her by the waist with the sound of her suit shifting and scraping against his belt and jacket.

“Didn’t feel like touching down today, I take it,” It’d seemed like she was off the ground the whole match, a glowing dot in the distance behind the rockets Pharah unleashed.
