She too was able to cross most of the landscape fairly easily, the only grace she ever experienced being in environments like this. Every so often she’d hesitate at a slope, but would eventually hop down anyway and trot to catch up with the shorter man.

“Uh… Okay? Why?” she finally asked, taking a deep breath to hide the evidence of her lack of exercise. As if that weren’t already evident. She rolled her eyes at the thought, grabbing a tree by the trunk and swinging around it smoothly before stepping away from the patch of mud that got in her way. She jumped back in surprise at the snapped tree, but easily hopped onto and over it.

The dwarf did stop after a long while, letting Eddie catch her breath; for a man in his fifties, he was surely fit -- he had to be. But he knew what it was like to try and keep up when you couldn’t breathe. It gave him a moment to take out a device, checking on where they were.

“Not too far now -- thought I’d let you rest up, ‘cause yer breathin’ sounded pretty bad for a second there. Wanted to make sure you weren’t gettin’ too tired out.”
