I’ve been watching our PM email back and forth with the customer team for like an hour trying to figure out when the SMEs from both sides are available so we can move the placeholder meeting. Day-of. So now I don’t know if I have a meeting in three minutes or in four hours

Catching supply chain asking about cheaper material o-rings than the drawing specifies, like a dog with something in their mouth they know they can’t have

No we Cannot try a new o-ring with the wrong fluid compatibilities and working temperature envelope and fail re-qualification of the product prompting a 2 year RCCA where the outcome is Supply Chain Cheaped Out to save twelve bucks each on thirty units for the year. Stop asking design engineering, and don’t go ask the EE’s because you think they’ll say yes.
