Castiel Novak Hates Pet Names by Englandwouldfall
Summary: Although Castiel’s ‘people skills’ are slightly rusty, he’s entirely sure the way Dean talks about his girlfriend ‘baby’ is a tad inappropriate…but then maybe that’s just because Castiel is in love with him.
In which there is a bit of a misunderstanding.
Comments: 8/10. This is hilarious. Dramatic irony at its best. The misunderstanding leads to extremely funny quotes that are drastically different from each side. Such quotes include “I’m in baby now, give me ten minutes” and “Baby was my Dad’s before she was mine.” Poor Cas though, and poor Dean too for that matter. Great for a quick funny read, although it is quite a bit longer than I expected at 5 chapters and 27000 words. It feels a little dragged out sometimes, but all’s good and it’s really worth it just for the funny quotes. But of course there is also a good backstory and some really good plot.
