ohh Ruthless pokemon and Black Prism. Damn, all my money is gonna go into buying pokeballs, huh. So, wait...what is the different benefits between Shadow Pokemon and Ruthless Pokemon? like, other than earning Prism and Essence to trade stuffs. And different moveset. Shadow Pokemon also get eggmove too right? and also move that the pokemon don’t get?

Like, what??? what is the in-universe reason for this??? what the heck is black prism? maybe it related to Black Shard that let you switch dimensions? so technically, your soul jumping through different dimensions, and in that dimensions, your host was someone else? Or like, it’s like that one mirror puzzle in Reborn in which Luck “mirror” you and now you’re in different dimenssions. The gigantic hat could be a mirror room? Great, more questions, woohoo~ Like, in Desolation, you do have option to switch your playables, but it’s more of a funny meta thing since all of them don’t have plot relevance or “real world” connections, only the one you picked is.

the italian poetry feels easier to pronounce than the spanish even though i've never taken italian. i can only assume it's because i have less exposure to spoken italian in the world around me and therefore less awareness of how badly i'm fucking it up. except for the geminate consonants, i know i suck at those, which is weird because latin also has geminate consonants and those feel fine?? but this is good it keeps me humble. the only time i tried to speak a sentence to an italian person she was so horrified that i immediately gave up but that was 20 years ago and apparently didn't leave enough of a mark on my psyche to prevent me from feeling overconfident in my abilities now. but the geminate consonants will prevent me. good lookin out.

#i just always end up stressing the syllable before the geminate but it's often the syllable after it that gets stressed #or like. some totally other syllable somewhere else in the word. not consistently the one before the geminate #also one of these poems was in romano which has word-initial geminates 😭😭😭 okay i'm already humble i'm humble i swear!!!#but it's stuff like. as a teen i was so scared of the gli sound but now i think it's not that hard. it's the sound in million we have it in #english...#and the c and ch sounds are hard to get the hang of because they feel backwards to an english speaker (especially chi and che omg)#but again not that hard once you get the hang of it #i definitely do not have a good handle on phoneme length for either consonants or vowels though #and it's fucking up the stress even though stress is supposedly pretty straightforward in italian #and i keep mispronouncing [e]#and probably also the 'a' sound though i have less awareness of it #but every time i see that grave accent coming up at the end of a word and manage to stress the final syllable? ego size of a house #italian #phonology #my posts

i think it's brilliant that in mdzs jin guangshan is mostly off the page even though he was THE catalyst for so much (like literally ... so much when you sit and think about it) of the conflict in the book he's not even an antagonist really or a villain just a piece of shit rich dude fucking you over off screen like ......... what else is new?

i think it just really fits so well with the way that conflict works in the book and the way that things will never be resolved, like not really? but how could they be?
