The Rescue - The Kill Order

In The kill order this week Mark and Alec flew their berg and arrived at a neighborhood looking for their friends, DeeDee, Trina, and Lana. In the berg they found a Transvice, Which is a weapon that pretty much obliterates anyone shot. In the neighborhood are the sick crazy people that took their friends. While searching the houses they heard a loud scream coming from one of the yards. It was Lana.

I’ve gone from 25 overdues to 13 since about 10 this morning, it’s 4 now. All 13 of them are in English9, can someone help me? I need to summarize the whole greek thing that I didn’t read and it would take me like a few hours to do the whole thing.

Nobody told me that my English 9 class was a REPEATERS class. I found out in the middle of my lesson on the first day when, after I informed them of what we would be reading this year, they started screaming stuff like "this is bullshit" and "this class is going to be dry as hell" blah blah blah. 

So I've changed the way I approach this class and I've got to tell you...these kids are bright. They've failed because they never did the assigned work. They failed because they didn't show up for class. They failed because they have horrific home lives that put school at the bottom of the to-do list. [No seriously, I know teachers say that but one girl's father overdosed on Christmas morning and they woke up to open presents and found him in the living room. She shut down for the rest of the year. They are dealing with some fucked up shit.]

They didn't fail because they didn't understand the material. They didn't fail because they are stupid or below average (which is what their friends tell them). SHIT HAPPENS AND SOMETIMES IT IS OUTSIDE THE KIDS CONTROL. 

These kids are smart and funny and our classroom dynamic has turned around tremendously in just four days. I'm actually excited for this semester. I want to see them succeed and I want them to know I believe in them.
