My idea at first was that Enid would be transforming into a wolf but finally I decided to just make her a little bigger... I also couldn't decide if I liked the painted drawing or the black and white one...

Some wenclair art requests to choose from, if you like! (no worries if not of course ^^) - Wednesday and Enid are sparring/play wrestling, when Enid had gotten a little over eager. Wednesday's unimpressed. "Enid, we agreed no biting." - Wednesday's quietly flustered at Enid's recently elevated habit of being even more in her space (as much as possible, might she add), lately. Is this a 'pack mentality' thing? Must be.. - Enid managed to convince Wednesday to join her for a refreshing (or obnoxiously bright, depending on who you ask), sunbathing afternoon outside! It'd be such a waste to spend the day cooped up in their dorm, right?

Enid enters to find Wednesday standing with her arms open

Enid: *suspicious* What happened?

Wednesday: Is it unreasonable that I merely wished for some affection from my paramour?

Enid: No . . . but it is rare

Wednesday: May I have a hug?

Enid: Okay *walks over and cautiously hugs Wednesday*

Wednesday: This is nice

Enid: It is isn't *feels a small prick* oh you bit . . .

Wednesday: Just some sugar to help with what is to come

Enid: *lazily shoves Wednesday* whhhhhhhhy??????

Wednesday: Today is your annual physical and based on previous nerves I thought you may need something to take the edge off

Enid: *grumpy pout* uggghhhh I don want to go to the vet!!!!

Wednesday: They are not a vet, they are merely a doctor who treats multiple species

Enid: *sticks out tongue*

Wednesday: *softer* I know it seems like a technicality but your continued good health is important to me

Enid: *dramatically* Fiiiiinnnnnne but if any one puts a thermometer near my!

Wednesday: I told you the student responsible for that is no longer practicing medicine, nor do they have hands

Enid: *still grumpy and muttering*

Wednesday: I will be with you for the whole procedure and if you are a good girl we will get ice cream afterwards

Enid: *perks up* really?

Wednesday: *nods*

Enid: *suspicious* Normal ice cream not bugs or worms

Wednesday: Whatever ice cream you wish

Enid: *smoll* yay, can I have a hug?

Wednesday: Of course *is wrapped in Enid's arms, winces as claws dig into her arm*

Enid: *whisper* were getting ice cream regardless of what kind of girl I am

Wednesday: *breath catches* yes

Enid: yay!

Enid discovers to her delight that the Addams Family Curse does, in fact, prevent one’s death at the hands of their beloved.

- After Wednesday Rescues Enid. They are at the Addams Mansion with Enid in the bathtub in human form as Wednesday helps to scrub her. Enid has not said a thing since she transformed back -

Wednesday: “I thought you’d been hurt… or worse.”

Wednesday lightly scrubs the dirt off of Enid’s shoulders. Enid has her knees pulled into her chest with her head tucked in so that only knotted blonde hair is visible.

Wednesday: “I told you I would find you my canis lupus.”

Enid does not reply but the silence does little to discourage the raven.

Wednesday: “You are safe now Enid. Do you know that?”

Enid: “I’m sorry”

Her voice is barely above a whisper.

Wednesday: “Only a fool apologizes when they have done no wrong.”

Though strange, Wednesday’s worlds go along way to help comfort the girl.

Wednesday moves around to the side of the tub and lifts Enid’s head lightly and brushes the girl’s cheek with the sponge. The dirt is but an excuse to hold her face.

Enid: “I was so scared”

Her voice cracks.

Wednesday: “There is no need for that. I am always here. I will always be your shadow.”

The raven leans in and plants a soft kiss on the wolf’s forehead before standing once more and distracting herself with the task of finding more soap in the cupboard.

For the first time in months, Enid smiles- baring her teeth in a forgotten way.
