Haha, someone finally explained this to me! I don’t know what I THOUGHT it meant, but I did not guess it meant “move your butt,” although that makes total sense. I have never heard it before though. #regionalisms

that watch bunch of eps in a row vs 2 hr movie thing. i have a theory bc it's me too. i think its cause movies have 2 goddamn hours to resolve their plot. so shows seem to get to the goddamn point faster. so its new, fresh, with each ep.

I think this makes a lot of sense. Example: I watched 4 episodes of Wet Hot American Summer: 10 Years Later the other night in what felt like the blink of an eye. But even when I watched Moana a while back -- a children’s movie specifically designed to be engaging and full of visual candy and scenery and prettiness -- I paused like 20 times because I kept getting distracted. When it’s broken into discrete digestible chunks, it’s like, you get a chance to bail if you want instead of feeling like you gotta commit.

one time my family went snorkelling on vacation and a fish touched my leg and i cried lmao ooo also i went snorkeling in the red sea when i was in israel and my snorkel was broken so i could only stay underwater for a few seconds @ a time lol !!!
