That's an hour I will never get back of my life. Utility companies are the worst and property management companies are sort of terrible sometimes. The plus side is, I paid the bill and if it turns out to be Boardwalks fault, they will reimburse me for the full amount of the bill, not just the administrative fee and they were super sweet to me, I think mostly because they could see how frustrated I was by having to make a fuck ton of phone calls to get to the bottom of it. Boardwalk recieved a bill from Enmax because something happened and tried to get me to pay it, plus an administrative fee. I paid it and then called my gas company and was like what the fuck. Then they were like, we don't have any information, try the company that the bill is through. So I called Enmax and they were like, um, someone requested that site to go through us. And I was like what the fuck, I have a right to choose my utility company. And they looked a little further and were like, Boardwalk is actually the one who requested this change. So I went charging into the office and was like 'um, so I'd like to be refunded for the administrative fee, please? I just spoke to Enmax and they told me boardwalk requested the change. ' and when they started to say no, I was like it might not have been anyone in this office, but someone at Boardwalk requested it' and Anastasia was like, I'll need to talk with some other people at boardwalk and I told her that was fine, I am willing to wait a few days, as long as you guys deal with it. Then she told me that if it is Boardwalk's doing, they will refund me the full amount. I feel like I have the requisite amount of rage and adrenaline necessary to rob a convenience store or something.
