Hi I am looking for a fic that takes place during season 3. I can't remember how exactly, but Rose is still with the Doctor. I specifically remember the episode 42 and the aftermath where the Doctor and Rose avoid anything hot and basically have PTSD and won't go anywhere warm and I'm pretty sure Martha ends up dealing with this and figuring out how to help. I can't remember if it was a rewrite of all of series 3 or just part of it but if anyone knows what fic this is, that would be awesome!

More fandom music fun facts! 1) did you know about James Marster's band Ghost of the Robot? 2) Antony Stewart Head played Frankfurter in the early 90s and released a single of Sweet Transvestite? (Finding those pictures in the 90s certainly taught me a few things about myself.. and my mom, she was with me when I found them.) He and Amber Benson also participated in a rocky horror tribute show in 2006

So you're kinda the only person I know of to ask this question to. Do they ever explain if vampire lore/pop culture differs in the twilight universe? Because I gotta say that seeing them out in the day would throw off my vamp radar, but not half as much as a disco ball impression.

so, i just read over the section where bella researches vampires and i don't think the lore really differs? she finds results for "everything from movies and TV shows to role-playing games, underground metal, and gothic cosmetic companies," and a whole website of vampire legends through different cultures, which seem to be largely based on "real" vampire myths.

she also references what she knows from "the small number of scary movies" she's seen—which is that vampires don't come out in daylight. so, she seems to have pretty much the same expectations as any of us would.
