mini-prompt/challenge: Find me a non-angsty reason why our favourite Avocados don't flatshare after they graduate.
“We can’t keep doing this,” Matt says, gasping for breath, collapsed on top of Foggy.
“…are you breaking up with me?” Foggy asks, slowly.“Did you fuck me beforehand so it would be easier to break the news?”
“No. God,no,” Matt says. “Never.”
“Oh, good,” Foggy says. “Good. I mean, I have acontingency plan for that situation, but I’d hate to actually have to gothrough with it.”
“A contingency plan?” he asks, moving to collapse nextto Foggy, so they’re laying shoulder to shoulder.
“Yeah, in the event of us breaking up, I’m going to,like, get on the subway,” Foggy says, brightly, “and just ride it forever. ‘tilI die.”
“Well,” Matt says. “Good thing I’m not breaking upwith you.”
“What are you talking about, then?”
“We can’t keep doing that thing we’ve been doing allyear,” Matt says, “where I say I have to study and you distract me with yourmouth and then you say you’re supposed to meet people for a group project and Idistract you with my mouth and then nothing gets done.”
“Oh, that?”Foggy asks. “Why would we stop that? I love that.”
“Because nothinggets done,” Matt says.
“Well,” Foggy says, turning to dig his chin into Matt’sshoulder. “Something gets done.”
“I’m trying to make a point,” Matt says, fondly. “Wehave too much sex.”
“That’s not a thing,” Foggy says, skeptically.
“I just got a B on a paper,” Matt says.
“Oh dear god, a B?”Foggy asks, gasping. “I’m sorry, I didn’t realize that it was so bad, I’llnever touch you again.”
Matt groans and turns to kiss him, sliding a hand intoFoggy’s hair.
“If we keep living together after graduation,” hesays, seriously. “We’re not going to keep the high-powered internship that we’reabsolutely going to get and, also, we’re going to die of dehydration.”
“Are you saying we should get our own apartments so we’reless likely to fuck each other to death?” Foggy asks, sounding kind of pleased.
“If the last two semesters have shown us anything,”Matt says, “I kind of can’t keep my hands off of you.”
Foggy pushes off of Matt’s shoulder to climb on top ofhim, straddling his hips and leaning down to kiss him, slow and deep.
“You might have a point,” he says, “but let’s talk aboutit later.”
He rocks his hips down, and Matt groans out a laugh, digging his fingers into Foggy’s side.
“Yeah,” he agrees. “Later.”
