It's ironic that the NASA Shuttle "Enterprise" never made it into space.
Just like our "real" (fictional) Enterprise 1701. ;)
Space Shuttles and Fried Chicken

Happy Friday, or should I say, Happy Fly-day? (Cue eye rolling.)
My office ran up to the roof of our building to catch the space shuttle Enterprise flying around Manhattan. We were like little schoolchildren in our excitement, ooh-ing and ahh-ing everytime it whizzed by.
Last night I visited a Korean fried chicken joint that I like even more than Bon Chon. Hard to believe, since my friends love Bon Chon more than anything but I am now coverted to Mad for Chicken and their perfectly crispy chicken and truffle fries. Koreatown never disappoints (except for that one time, when I had a traumatic experience at Kun JIp).
Yann Tiersen is playing at Irving Plaza tonight! Tickets are already sold out, so count yourself lucky if you're going. I saw him live last winter, and he was ahurissant (that's supposed to be "amazing" in French.)

The Enterprise shuttle making its way over the Hudson river in New York City. Here was our view from the 9th floor of NewsBeast headquarters. The shuttle will end up at the Intrepid Sea, Air, and Space Museum, just a few blocks up from us!
