Glued up some panels for the uprights today. The doors get glued up tomorrow. You can see in the last two pictures a little sneak peak of the front doors. Selecting the wood and orientation for the final doors is probably my favorite part of the build. Industrial look tv console...this one was built for a firehouses living quarters. Reclaimed Entertainment Console

Found all the wood for this piece by snooping around in back alleys.

It had to be tall enough to house 2 rows of vinyl and deep enough to hold a gigantic receiver, yet still fit a certain height and width. So, if you look closely you just might be able to see the gerbils spinning in my head.

Had to resize these old windows to work as doors (which I just so happened to find while crawling inside of a dumpster -- don't you judge me -- what I do on my own time is my business). 

Used the original window hardware as the door pulls -- which was also found in the illustrious dumpster.

The left side perfectly houses Paul Simon's giant head and Robert Plant's tiny one.  The right side has adjustable shelves for a receiver, DVD player cable box, or VHS player (in case you haven't upgraded from the 90s yet).

Honestly it was hard to let this piece go.

 Aside from the fact I don't have to move it around anymore -- it's heavy.

Used my grandfather's old steel letters to whack my name in the back.
