@entitemalefique : i'll never let you go. / accepting !
She had never said that before.
Ghostface was a careful creature before Entity. Not out of respect but out of self-concern. He voluntarily cultivated an apathetic persona, filtering what emotions he might feel through a metaphorical strainer so all that was left was watered down. To the wrong person, this knowledge seemed selfish. A means of refusing the Entity her rightful meal. In reality, it was self-preserving. He didn't want her to use his emotions against him.
This was different.
Ghostface stood stock still, grateful for the mask obscuring the way his brow knitted together, his eyes widened in a knee-jerk reaction of horror. He could not filter the spark of fear that shot up the length of his spine. Not quickly enough, anyway. By the time he'd grounded himself, he knew it was too late. She would sense his fear if she was looking for it.
Still, he opted for damage control.
"Of course not," he laughed. "If I'm gone, who will feed you?"
