I’ve always dismissed the Extinction because I assumed the fear of it necessitated a significance and importance that could be lost... which never really appealed to me, as an optimistic nihilist. What is there to fear in insignificance?

But the Entities are multifaceted, and everyone’s relationship to fear is their own... I haven’t listened to the new season but I hope that the Extinction will have its time in the limelight.
