💤 Quentin gave a quick nod, mostly he was hiding how much he was in pain. After all he didn’t want the other to worry, besides, he had been the one to falter. “Y-Yeah. Just... Just a bit shaken up is all... Nothing I can’t handle.” He murmured while keeping his hand up near his face for a moment before lowering it.

🚬 Tommy immediately looked and swore softly and quickly moved to cover them, having completely forgotten they were there when they had rolled up the sleeves of their hoodie. A cough and laugh left them as they moved to run a hand through their hair. “H-huh? Oh those? Pssh. They’re nothing. Just a bit of rough housing with my siblings.” That was... part of the reason, the other half having been from his dad- mad that he hadn’t done as well as he should have since he was at risk of being kicked off the team.

👟Meg looked away and down, lightly wrapping an arm around herself- feeling a bit guilty. After all... she knew that. She knew David was her friend and yet... she still felt like she had to do everything on her own- after all, that’s how it had been before the Fog. Working her butt off and trying her damnest to get the money to take care of her mother- giving up her dreams in favor of taking care of her. She didn’t have many friends growing up either, so... it was hard. 

Relying on someone else. 

Of course she had gotten a bit better what with Dwight, Claudette and Jake being the only other people she had contact with. But as their group grew, she ended up forming more bonds and friendships than she could remember having. She bit her lip as she felt her eyes begin to water a bit, lightly gripping her arm a bit tighter as she took in a sharp inhale.

🚬 Tommy couldn’t help the small burst of laughter that left him as he felt Steve press their lips against his cheek- albeit confused, at least until he felt them do it again, and again, and again. It then clicked what he was doing before another laugh escaped him, lightly pushing at the taller’s chest in a half hearted attempt to escape.
