       spotted .   she  slips  into  the  familiar  routine  once  more ;  an  annual  smile ,  warm  gaze ,  a  kind  gesture .  the  table ,  petite  wrought  iron ,  offers  two  seats ,  one  of  which  the  girl  occupies .  fingers  curling  over  the  back  of  the  spare  seat ,  grace  ducks  into  view .  jasmine  has  yet  to  lose  her  heart  in  the  process  of  dying ,  and  each  year  befriending  her  once  more  is  an  easy  task .   

        a  curse  that  fascinates  her ,  one  she  idly  seeks  to  break .  cruel ,  she  may  be ,  but  grace  has  always  been  of  the  mind  that  young  women  suffer  enough  by  virtue  of  living --  to  die ,  year  after  year ,  is  hardly  necessary .     ❝  is  this  seat  taken ?  ❞      /    @envykilled
