le chateau de paris is a three michelin star restaurant in the heart of the most touristy district of paris, near the eiffel tower. this means that they get a lot of business and people from all walks of life. while it’s not a particularly sought out restaurant, it was one of the newest and hottest restaurants. the trendy atmosphere and great wine selection make it a popular destination for the locals as well. their mission is to try a new take on classic french cuisine with some elements mixed in there from the travels of the head chef’s.

along with being a trendy restaurant, this is a great place to put on your resume as a place of employment. the managers are excellent, the training is superb, and you get a free meal once a day to keep you going. if you’re a college student - or a culinary student - this would be a fantastic place to work and learn how everything works.

the haunting of moreau house. (tw: mental illness, suicide)

yes, i fully admit to being #basic and requesting a family based on the tv show that is currently all the rage, the haunting of hill house. obviously since the site is not thrown in a supernatural/paranormal realm, there are going to be differences. the basic gist of the plot is going to remain the same: when the siblings were kids, their mother was depressed and schizophrenic, and ultimately took their own life in their childhood home. this affected the children all in very different ways; outlined in the 5 stages of grief in some fashion. i would love for someone to take the remaining siblings and we can build the family dynamic together. i’m big on collaborating wanted ads, so i’m leaving a lot of things open. face claims are open but i ask that you please run them by me first and that they look some passing resemblance to holland roden. ages and genders are set in stone (the youngest are twins), but that’s about it! you can reach me on discord at travis#5932.

the ezra family

let’s just start out with that mr. roland ezra - the director of many french successful films - tends to have bad luck with marriage. he’s currently married to his 5th wife, and that’s the longest marriage he’s had -- 10 years and 3 months in, and he’s still getting frustrated in this marriage. basically, he is relatively immature and thinks that marriage should be easy and not as much work as each and every one of them have been. this mentality has sure given his plethora of children (all 22 of them - i know, yikes) quite a few problems psychologically. what does it do to you when you see your parents just give up so easily like that? definitely not whole lotta good.

each child of the ezra clan deals with this differently - some have turned to fame to help distract them and essentially follow their father’s footsteps, some turn to therapy and actually getting their shit handled, and some are stuck somewhere in between being okay and being very not okay. in the end, they do love their moms and dad, but they don’t really know how to get along 100% of the time, which... is pretty much the story of every single family, big or small.

what i stated above is true. every single sibling of this large family has handled the multiple divorces and the custody battles and fighting and everything that comes with nasty divorces under the sun. their mothers are jaded after they weren’t ‘the one’ that ‘changed the legendary roland ezra’. how they react and how they’ve dealt with their families continuously growing (it seems like there’s no end in sight - roland is 62 and just had a child with his 5th wife last year) and how they handle the changes is completely up to you!

dysfunctional, on-again-off-again boyfriend/baby daddy. 

in lieu of a good graphic, please take this moodboard-type-deal as a ~vibe for their relationship until it’s not 5am and i’ve slept. but, basically, this is a request for cami’s better (worse?) half. it’s a toxic, messed up... mess. i’d say they could both do better but, tbh, they probably can’t and that’s why they’re still on this bullshit, like, eight years after they first met. they love each other really - it’s just that neither of them really know how to show it. they’re better at arguing and taking the roof of than actually saying “i love you”. but you can read more below the cut!! just please make him because i have a lot of head canons and ideas and such! 

so, cami and boy met when they were twenty. she was working in a bar and he was either a regular, or he worked there too. (imagine: her patching him up after ‘bar fights’ and calling him a fucking idiot and him telling her to fuck off) they hit it off pretty much right away, if ‘hitting it off’ counts as sniping and winding each other pretty much 24/7. point is: they got one another. no one knows her like boy does and no one knows him like cami does. they’re two sides of the same coin and sometimes that means that they clash like hell. 

they have explosive arguments where they call each other all the names under the sun and probably treat each other like shit 90% of the time tbh but, at the end of the day, they both know that they’re going to wind up back together. even when they’re off sleeping with other people it’s only to make each other jealous - sometimes they’ll even flirt to piss the other one off. can’t let things get too stale, yo. 

it’s been that way since the start. then just over three years ago, cami ended up pregnant and it definitely was not planned. they decided to try and get their shit together: moved in with each other, gave it a real solid go... and i imagine it worked well enough through the pregnancy and... the first couple of months... but then they were back to their same old bullshit. just now they had a kid to keep in mind: he’s honestly the only good thing about either of them, probably, and they both fucking love him to death. 

they still argue, still break up probably once a week... but they’ve also accepted (out loud, or not) that there’s no one else that’s going to put up with their bullshit and that they’re happiest when they’re together... because they are, really. they laugh and joke about together and have been known to have the odd Tender™ moment: it’s not all bitching and fighting... just, like, 90% of the time. 

they’re the kind of couple who’ll argue and he’ll storm out to get groceries or something in an attempt to cool down and she’ll send him nudes whilst he’s in the queue because she’s decided she’d forgive him and then they’ll make up and it’s like nothing ever happened.  please make him, basically, and rp this messy... mess with me!! they’re playful and fun and cute but also both raging idiots who wouldn’t know a functional relationship if it danced naked in front of them. hit me up on here or on discord @ lovegoods#1240!

meet yr local stupid rich france transplant kids!! each of the davies children were born in england to a real estate mogul of a mother and an esteemed music producer of a father. after the youngest turned two, they packed up their stuff and moved to france, where the kids attended international school. they got invited to everything from ridiculous charity galas to movie premieres, etc. just because of their parents’ $$$. are they well-adjusted?? probably not. but hey, they probably won’t need to worry about money for a while, so what’s the rush? the davies fam is quite close knit and they spend a lot of time together despite living separately. each of the boys is overwhelmingly overprotective of their little sister (except for maybe austin), whom they sheltered from family drama growing up.
