Secret Valentines have been sent out! Please check your inbox! And remember, there aren't that many rules for this event. Just follow the ones below and all will be grand!

From February 1st (or the day you receive your valentine) until February 14th, you should speak with your partner. Get to know them better, understand what makes them tic, be their friend. This is not an event to make you all suffer. We just want our employees to have a good holiday, and what better way to do that than to make friends?

On February 14th, you reveal yourself and give your partner a valentine’s present.

Don’t reveal yourself before then, and don’t tell anyone else who you have so that the effect won’t be spoiled.

If you don’t like the person you’ve gotten, don’t complain. Partners are chosen at random.

If you originally decide to participate but find yourself unable to, message an admin or the directory and let them know, and please be specific as to why. Don’t just drop out midway through without any explanation.

Also, if you are participating, you must participate on both ends. You will have a valentine, and you will be a valentine. Don’t do one and not the other.

Last, but most important of all: Have fun!

Greetings, employees!

As promised, the time has come around for the next Eros Nyx event. This time, in part to the month of February and the theme of love, we’ll be holding a Valentine’s event. Participants will have until February 1st to sign up, wherein those employees will randomly and in secret be assigned a valentine. From that day until the 14th of February, participants will converse with and get to know their valentine, even going so far as to woo them if they’d like. (Just don’t break any hearts, folks, this is Valentine’s Day, after all!) On February 14th, the last day of the event, participants will reveal themselves to their partner as their secret valentine and offer them a gift of some sort. They are, after all, your valentine.

If you have not received your Secret Santa notifications - please go ahead and send in your concerns to the admin account now.

Submissions were sent out with your recipients name included. If this submission were somehow lost or "eaten" please let me know so that I can tell you once again who you should be spreading Christmas Cheer to.

If for ANY reason you CANNOT participate in Secret Santa after you requested to do so (OOC Obligations), you need to contact an Administrator IMMEDIATELY so that this can be remedied.

Goodbye’s the new hello; Naeun + Jinki

The atmosphere of organization and discipline that reigns over a classroom full of well sat students taking their annotations in silence fills Jinki with an odd sense of power. He takes his own seat after scribbling the solution to one of the most complex calculations in the exercise book, running his eyes over the classroom behind the rectangular shape of his glasses, hands layered over the desktop.

The faces are all turned down to the notebooks sat on the numerous smaller desks that are aligned in short rows that faced him. He catches the movement of their hands, the sound of pencils grazing over paper faintly audible from where he stands. The neatness of the scene comforts him from the disarray his personal life has slipped into at a moment in the past he can’t exactly pinpoint. And the most recent piece tossed in the mess of his puzzle sat among those students.

He pretends not to catch the glimpses she would throw at him, her eyes so bright and full of something that is entirely foreign to a person such as Jinki. It becomes so easy to block out the shy curl of lips that comes from the girl, much like it had come from a few other bright girls such as herself, he would pause at times and ask himself when he’d turned into this person that found relief in a class of working students of all things. It could have been during the first touch on the shoulder, the first innocent compliment underlying thoughts a teacher shouldn’t nourish towards a student – it’s been so long since he doesn’t feel like himself that he’d just stopped caring altogether in the rush of days.

Jinki had decided four days ago, over the weekend, when he had Son Naeun in his arms, when all the touches and compliments had culminated in the satisfaction of his most primal, heinous need, that the interest he once had in her had perished along with his afterglow. He prays to himself, repeating a methodical mantra, that it’s not so bad – Naeun is a smart one, isn’t she? He hadn’t made an effort to contact her through the texts they’d been exchanging for the month. He’d ignored all of hers, too. He’d avoided her gaze in the corridors, when he would once flash her practiced smiles whenever they crossed around the school. They were teacher and student, she couldn't possibly have imagined this would go on for long.

Naeun is smart, and he’d made a clear case. This is not so bad, it really isn’t. He is not so bad.

Eros Nyx Presents : Sing A Song

Sing, sing a song, sing out loud, sing out strong! That's right, this is Eros Nyx's first family event! Are you prepared? I hope so.

It's simple! Everyone in the company has been designated a number. By using a random number generator, people are paired off and given a song title. That song title is what you should base your action/para around or at least use the song title somewhere in your interaction.

Requirements for this event are as follows:

Your partner is your partner until the end. The only exceptions made will be if someone must hiatus for personal reasons.

All interactions must have at least 15 responses from each participant.

It does not need to be in para format, but if that is what you are more comfortable with? Please, by all means, write us a beautiful story.

This directory is not strictly based around smut, but it is allowed. Just remember, any adult writings must be under a read more.

The tag for this event will be #enx:event. All responses must have this tag in them so that we as admins can beam proudly at you all like overzealous parents.

Any concerns must be brought to the admins, never mentioned outside of anything private.

This is so we can come together. Meet your fellow members. No one wants to be out there on their own! It is unacceptable that people feel as if they are ignored due to their gender and sexual preferences. That's not what Eros Nyx is about nor will it ever be that way.
