Enzo had a bunch of things planned for his husband’s birthday, and he was so excited. But first, time to give his lover a proper good morning birthday surprise. With Ruby, Darcy, Solo, Prescott and Lucy, he brought them all in as a group. He made sure Darcy went in first, and they were quiet like mice, even though Ruby was giggling uncontrollably. They had a bunch of balloons with them, and Enzo held a cake he baked from scratch just for his beautiful man, candles lit on top. Darcy was ready to play A Very Merry Unbirthday from Disney’s Alice in Wonderland on her phone. Mark lay in bed sleeping like an angel, but all of them were about to ruin it. “Three...two...one...” he counted down, and shot off a loud party popper that blew confetti into the air. “SURPRISE!” they all shouted, and Darcy played the song on her phone, saying with Enzo “HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MARK!” And Ruby sang happy birthday to his daddy as he got on the bed to cuddle up to him. Lucy intuitively followed. “Happy birthday, babe,” he said, curling down and kissing his husband’s lips. Then he held out the cake. “Make a wish, honey.”

Help Me Forget

He never expected this. Ever. His mother, reaching out. Somehow managing to find his number and give him a call. The dancer was just finishing his shift, and he wasn’t closing so he was able to pick up Ruby from school. But just as he left, she called him. He didn’t recognize the number at first, but when he heard her voice on the other head, he knew who she was. He tried to keep as calm as possible as she said she missed him, asked him how he was, how his family was if he had one. Anger built inside with each passing second, but he stayed calm, even when she asked if she could come visit sometime. He told her he’d think about it before hanging up. One would think maybe Enzo was overreacting, that he should have some respect for the woman who birthed him. But this woman never took care of him when he was growing up. Allowed her various boyfriends to beat him as a child, made him be the one to take care of her. From cleaning her up after a night of partying hard, to being made to purchase her drugs from her dealers. Enzo didn’t say much when he picked Ruby up. They got home, he fed him a snack, and he helped him with his homework, before they had dinner and the boy passed out ten minutes into a movie they were watching. So Ruby was asleep, but when Mark got home, Enzo had to let some steam out. So he grabbed his soon to be husband, kissed him hard, and undid Mark’s belt and opened up his pants. He was breathing hard as he pulled away and turned Mark to bend him over the couch. He was angry at his mother and needed to fuck out the fury for a little bit.
