Request: Might be a little bit dark but can you write Eobard taking care of and comforting the reader after they end up killing someone for the first time and are in shock
You had never killed anyone before. Maimed maybe, injured, but never killed. But tonight you had, you had taken a life and even though they would have captured you if you didn’t react, but that didn’t help you feel any better about what you had done. Eobard was at home, he knew what had happened and he was all smiles when you got home, but frowned when he saw how shaken you were.
“Y/N are you alright?” he asked, moving to take you in his arms and guide you to the couch. You sat down, heavy with the weight of the evening and shook your head.
“I killed someone Eo,” you said, finally fully admitting to what you had done. You were a little miffed when Eobard scoffed and rolled his eyes. “What? This is new, I’ve never done it...I didn’t realize guilt came along with the death.”
“O please, its fine, you were going to get captured, so you fought back, someone just happened to die, happens to me all the time,” he said, blowing it off as if it were no big deal. You slowly started to calm and think maybe it wasn’t so bad. He was right, you were going to go to prison if they got you. You had to do it.
“Ya, I guess, but I still feel bad,” you said. He nodded and within seconds he had some Big Belly Burger in front of you.
“Milkshake makes the guilt flee the yard,” he said and you actually laughed at him trying to make a joke.
“Thank you Eo, I think it’ll take me some time to get over this but, I’m glad you’re here to help.”
Request: fluff, reader is a meta dating Eobard debating magic vs science
Note: I have a TON of Eobard requests so requests for Eobard Thawne are CLOSED for the time being, give me more characters!
You had a special talent, something that at first Eobard thought he could use for his own gain but as he began to get to know you the idea of using you faded into the background as the thought of being with you became the forethought in his mind. And after awhile the two of you started dating and soon you were living together. On your first night in the same apartment you made a bet about who could move stuff in faster, him with his speed that was given by science or you, the person with magic that was given as a gift from your ancestors.
“Clearly science will triumph,” Eobard said with a smirk, never one to turn down a challenge. You smirked right back.
“You underestimate my magic,” you replied. “Ready and go...” Within seconds the apartment was in order and completely unpacked with you placing the last of your trinkets as Eobard put out the last throw pillow.
“A tie then?” he questioned as he sat on the couch, opening his arms for you to sit next to him. You smiled.
“I don’t think we will ever agree,” you answered. He chuckled and snuggled you closer.
“Science is able to be proven and used and expanded upon in ways we don’t even know yet, that can be discovered. Magic is stagnant, never changing,” he said. You rolled your eyes.
“Magic is always changing, always building onto something newer and bigger,” you replied, then laughed. “We really will never agree.”
With a nod Eobard leaned in and kissed you deeply, letting the argument fall away in favor of your lips.
