My head canon is that he showed up at the studio that day wearing The Blouse and they put it in the ad. Because he looks damn good in it.
He kept it for three years. Given how many clothes that boy has, that's rather something. Did a certain someone tell him he looks good in it? Is it still in his wardrobe? Will we see it again some day? I hope so.
