Map of Eos Update 3/17/2026

Howdy all!

I went through and fixed the ocean shelves, and cleaned up the land. Below is officially going to be the land/ocean/coastline for the final map! So if you want something for just that. Here ypu go!

Below is the topography map. With diffrent land heights. I finally got around to modding my game and boundary breaking into certain secrions for closer looks at what the game features. There is a lot here that is still under works. I am going section per section to make sure i get as much accuracy and details as possible.

As you can see, there is still a lot to work on. I have so far redons sections of eastern Lucis. In Liede, and Norther Duscae around the lucian sound.

Aside from the topography map I also want to do a biome map... but one thing at a time.

I have been working all day, and compiling maps of Eos from across all sorts of FFXV media. Its a damn shame the game devs never got around to giving us a full, proper world map. I hate the official maps too, because they make the ocean so dark it is hard to tell what is land or sea. And then they put clouds over everything else. Probably because they did not want to detail every square inch of this world. (BUT! I! DO!)

So anyway. I've started putting my photoshop skills to use.

This is every map of ffxv I could find. With the oceans erased and white outlines around the edges of land maps.

Over the next few weeks I want to clean this up and make a compiled version. If anyone has any maps of north-west Lucis or east Lucis. Sending them my way would be much appreciated.

Notes:

All of the Niflheim maps seem to have diffrent coast lines. So you will see too diffrent maps stacked attop each other here.

Then a few islands from the world maps we can see. Which I roughly outlined. Though those are hard to spot because of the clouds...

Intraced 1 quarter of insomnia's walls and then copy-pasted it around to get an esitmate.

Map of Eos: Resources

In an effort to make a world Map of Eos. I wanted to first share all the maps I have collected from various resources. Just incase anyone is interested in seeing them.

These two first maps are from the 'Piggyback Guide'. An art book for FFXV. Scans provided to me by my friends on the r/ffxv discord server. They feature full images of Lucis, and Accordio.

Next is a concept art for the World map of Eos. Which I found on the FFXV wiki. I overlaid the other maps ontop of this. Using land marks to align them- and get the spacing between the continents.

Finally I used the in-game maps in order to get more detailed coast lines and labels. These were taken from the ffxv wiki, and the FFXV interactives map.

Overlaying all of these maps: I have put them together like a puzzel. To make one final world map.

Map of Eos Update: 4/19/26

The Duscae region is officially done! Now moving on to the Cleign region, spesifically around Lestallum.

Had to take a small break for a week or two, but its getting there slowly.

Some fun notes: the taelpar craige area actually has a visible canyon where Gladio's DLC happens. The elevation here gave me tons of trouble. The elevation betwesn the west side if the craige and the duscae region is crazy. East Lucis is easily lower than all of the cleign region.
