This is such a sad sentiment, made sadder by the fact I’m fairly certain she believes it. Even when she’s perfectly happy, I think part of her is sure it won’t last.
And I still wonder whether it was Rex’s suggestive astral projection that did this to her:
That’s a specific and bizarre power. I wonder if he put it on his resume.

I have such mixed feelings about this scene, depending on my state of mind when I watch it.
On some rewatches, I’m furious with Prue. There’s no excuse for what she’s done. She’s taking away from Piper on her wedding day because she’s jealous and selfish.
On some rewatches, I feel for Prue intensely. She sacrificed so much, and of course it would accumulate to breaking point at Piper’s wedding, because this same thing was what Prue had walked away from in order to protect her sisters.
On some rewatches, I am in awe of Phoebe. Such love and forgiveness and respect and maturity. It shines over everything else and proves that she really does have the most heart out of all of them.
I think we have to give kudos to the writing team for something that provides such intense - yet conflicting - emotions.
For someone who spends his time whining about how Sam prevented them from getting back together, he sure doesn’t look happy to see her.
