EPA Lead Certification Online Courses
EPA certification is required certification for individuals performing renovation, repair, and painting activities on homes or child occupied facilities built prior to 1978. To receive EPA lead certification, workers need to complete an 8-hour Lead Renovator Certification course instructed by an EPA authorized training provider. If you are already a certified renovator, you can renew your EPA lead certification online, if your RRP certification has not yet expired. All you need is to complete the 4-hour refresher course.
As of February 17th, 2016 the EPA has passed the final rule allowing authorized e-learning training providers to provide the “Lead Safe Certified Renovator Refresher” course entirely online. View the EPA’s final rule here.
