EPIC PHAIL!! FO SURE!! TWILIGHT PINOY STYLE!
There's been a rumor going around the net about a localized version of Twilight. The idea of localizing the series is already bad add to that a crappy station noted for delivering sub-par quality programs will be doing it, ABS-CBN. And I thought the local version is just a joke, check this prank on candy mag. Apparently, ABS-CBN bought the right of Twilight for 5 million pesos says this site. Damn if it will only take five million to buy it's right I'll gladly buy it so it will not be aired. I do hope it really is that cheap but news says it cost ABS-CBN and Ignite Production (Co-Producer) a whooping US$1 Million just to creat an Epic Fail! It's still a rumor unless they showed a trailer or something on TV. But there's already an entertainment news on yehey.com, confirming that Rayver and Shaina will be the lead roles for Edward Cullen and Bella Swan. The other casts are still unofficial but here's the list:

I still think that "ally" is the straight liberal version of "no homo"
An LGBTQ group on my campus voted 2 weeks ago to include "A", standing for ally, to its name to attract straight people to join the group. Apparently, the only way to get straight individuals to do solidarity work with the LGBTQ community is if they get to preserve their privilege while fighting for social justice. They need to be recognized as different and part of the privileged group so that they don't experience the oppression, marginalization, and discrimination that LGBTQ folks experience. This mentally makes me sick and for this certain group to submit to this ideology is just utter fuckery and an epic failure.
