Many liked my neglected reader series, so I want to give it another twist, if you want it to be turned into a fic you can ask me to, but for now it just an idea, so let the idea commence:

"My boy!" Cried the emperor as he fell from his steed, the loose saddle a testament to the hurried frenzy his men had gone through to put on the saddle upon the horse that was not the emperor's, the overstretched material too large for the mortal creature that nearly had fallen in its way in the aftermath of the battle.

The half god borne stumbled towards the pile of the dead soldiers, shoving away the remnants of the burnt bodies that were still sizzling from the outburst of magic the false emperor had unleashed in battle, oh how he wished he had taught you how to use your powers well. "My boy" came his voice now thick with unshed tears and a crippling sense of guilt that seemed to crawl into the depth of his immortal being.

A choked gasp left his chapped lips as he noticed the gold of his armor under a large decapitated knight, shoving the body away to see the body of the son he had long locked away into the tower, where his mother had lost her way into the heavens, leaving the stillborn in it's cold keep. His mighty hands trembled as he pulled up the broken body of the child he had once forgotten in the embrace of mead and glory.

The useless limbs of the tall youngling were already lost under the hoard of the rubble, the chest plate that ironically shimmered with protective magic now dented, blood oozing out of the clasps, pointing out the injuries beneath. "Oh my child" the emperor's pitiful weep filled the field of death and misery, holding the sickly one borne of his godly blood, now dead instead of he, slain to protect the father thay never wanted him. The child he had sent to the maws of death.
