♡ Extra ! : My Ctimene…
After Odysseus managed to get his two companions back on the ship after the whole lotus eaters fiasco. He has told them what they had found out and ordered to set sail towards the west unti they find a cave.

The day turned into night, and y/n hadn’t been able to sleep like most nights.
She sat at the front of the ship looking into the night sky while a woman with.. unidentifiable features but her red hair stood out the most, she was seated near her although her back was to the front and was talking to the h/c girl.
“My dear, you have to rest your eyes at least once, it’s not heathy, you’ll end up getting hurt” she had tried to convince her with a soft caring tone, but the girl just hummed at her.
She sighed and tried again “my child.. what if you are needed and you won’t be able to function properly without sleep or at least resting your eyes..” she stated with concern laced in her voice “mother.. I-“ just as she was about to reply a voice cut her-
“Y/n?” A man’s voice questioned behind her, before turning to him she looked to the space next to her that was preoccupied with the woman.. but she is no longer there.
She had turned around to face the man and it was… Eurylochus!
“By the gods kid…” he muttered under his breath rubbing his eyes with one of his hands while the other was preoccupied with the candle light
“Why are you awake at this hour?” He questioned her looking her dead in the eyes, she just shrugged at him and turned around to face the ocean.
He sighed and sat next to her where the woman was once preoccupying the space and put the candle between them.
“You know…” he started talking “I haven’t told you about my wife haven’t I ?” She shook her head and he reached into a space in his chiton “this is her ..” she took the paper out of his hand and opened it.
The woman was simply.. beautiful. She had short, wavy brown hair, her eyes brown, her face a bit round with a mole under her left eye and a warm soft smile.
“She seems.. soft” you said in a low voice. Eurylochus was shocked for a moment but recovered quickly
“My ctimene..”he had introduced her “getting an artist to draw her was pretty expensive but it was worth everything..” he sighed dreamily staring off into the ocean “oh I would anything to get back to her” she had handed him back the drawing and he was staring at it, with a loving gaze.
“at the time, we were planning on having kids, before the war had happened. Little playmates for Telemachus” he chuckled a bit “having our little us running around causing chaos, with her mischievousness of course. That would be a dream come true” he folded the paper and put it back to where it was.
He stood up taking the candle “kid, I told you this because I know your father is back in Ithaca waiting for your safe return,”he started, she looked at him paying attention “therefore he doesn’t want you to die bc you didn’t get enough sleep and lost focus.”he put his hand out for her to take.
“….” She stared at his hand for a moment and thought about he had said and her mother, she decided to take it and he helped her up.
“Don’t let me catch you awake at this late time, or else I’m telling polites” he threatened her, she snickered a bit waving goodbye to him and heading to her shared room with her captain.
As he didn’t trust anyone with her— maybe Eurylochus and polites but they already share a room.
Now the cave is near and the food awaits them…
