Winding down the clock
So. Got safe passage. Still waiting for Monstone to show up with the damned Quills. But we're taking advantage of his foot-dragging to scrounge up every last scrap of grist we can. If it weren't for the fact that we're going to be gone soon, I'd never suggest it - the land rep hit alone... But once the Scratch is done, our Lands will stop existing. Land rep and carapace rep won't matter. Not for a while. So why not spend boondollars like water, and loot every consort village and the moons for every trinket and piece of junk we can get our hands on? We're going to need the grist more than the land rep, soon. Hell, Riley's in the middle of tearing down our Spires. We've already looted them, and what we could get out of the 'cant. So why not tear the Spires down brick by brick, too? I'd rather have what looks like way too much grist than wonder if we've got enough, and it's not like we'll need the Spires after this anyways. Everyone's already done the [Slaying of the Beast], mostly - so that's not a viable option for more grist. I think Joseph's trying to crack some of the Denizen Vaults open to get the grist from there, if he can; if anyone can manage it, it's a Light player, right? I'm torrenting all of Monstone's grist to the rest of us - not like he'll need it, after we leave. He's got his own ride. We'd loot his land too, if it were safe to go to.
