CONFIRMATION FROM EPIK
After a long and arduous wait, I have finally received confirmation from EPIK that I have been allocated to teach English in... SEOUL!!!
Seoul was my preferred Office of Education which I noted on my application form from the outset. In the past, EPIK allowed you to choose your second preferred Office of Education as well, however this has now changed.
On your application you can only list one specific preferred Office of Education. There is an option for you to either be recommended to a different location or withdraw from EPIK in the event you are unable to be recommended to your preferred Office of Education.
I will now need to apply for my visa and finalise my ticket. However, I can only do that once I receive my Notice of Appointment from EPIK which should arrive around mid/late July.
Before rambling on about how excited I am being able to teach in Seoul, I figured it would be best to include some informative posts for my readers who are interested in applying for the EPIK program and/or want some tips on the application process.
