Yeah it's usually literature, writing, and poetry analysis and all that jazz

Yes, "English class" is usually where students learn about reading literature and writing essays and stuff, "English majors" are usually thought of as experts on literature and writing styles
And it does include literature originally in other languages? Is it called specifically “English” because it includes the study of that specific grammar? Because here it receives the nationality name only if it’s specifically of said origin, otherwise it’s language and literature as a general term.

Sam! You're a ray of sunshine, one of those people we can talk for five minutes and we already know how special they are! Keep being this incredible friend you are. We met not so long ago and I already have very good memories. Thanks for everything. ✨🍓💚
