Superman & Lois Ep. 2.08

It’s times like this I miss LJ, I want to read a million episode reactions and write my own and have long discussions about it. I have some thoughts I need to put out into the void.

I am so disappointed with what they have done so far with Jon’s X-K plot line. It is ripe with the potential for such interesting and emotional story-telling and they have literally gone with the most boring plot ever. Like, I want it to be interesting and create deep emotional reaction and it’s so blah. Also, are we as an audience supposed to care about Candace? I genuinely don’t know if they are writing her thinking she is a sympathetic character or if they intentionally want the audience to dislike her. If it’s the former they are doing a piss-poor job, and if it’s the latter it’s working, but I don’t see the point. I am deep into this show, but this plot line is killing me.

I do love with my whole heart the Kent brothers. I love how they interact with each other. A+ work there.

Can someone refresh my memory? When does Isaac turn into a loveable douche, as opposed to just a regular douche? Like he is in this episode, beating a kid up and stealing his tickets to the Rave?
