Tami: Hey, Miss Lyla Garrity! Come on in here and sit down. Well, it's not true what they say about cheerleaders, that you're all just a bunch of T and A and nothing between the ears.
Lyla: Excuse me, Mrs. Taylor?
Tami: Well, I mean, you've got straight A's, girl! You go! That's awesome.
Lyla: Thank you.
Tami: So what are you thinking, are you thinking about colleges?
Lyla: Well, I always figure I'd wait to see what school Jason was going to play for. Probably Notre Dame, so I'd probably end up taking classes at St. Mary's, you know, and enroll full time once Jason was settled in.
Tami: Mm-hmm.
Lyla: Well, college football is so much more demanding than high school. I'd want to be there for him.
Tami: I understand that. But I was actually thinking, separate from that, what you might want to do.
Lyla: I guess, with Jason's recovery and all, I really haven't had time to give it much thought.
Tami: I know. But that's why I thought it might be a good idea for you to come in here. Maybe it's time for you to start thinking about it.
