Wjat are some of your Hero fart headcannons you haven't really talked about him much btw I love your content its genuinely amazing

Fortunately I've recently been accumulating HCs for Hero with a friend, so I have several to share...

Hero's farts are generally deep and bassy, long but not very loud, and they stink less but sometimes linger more than Kel's. They can build up fairly quickly in his usual seats and make them smell pretty ripe for a long time. Every now and then, he'll get REALLY gassy and barely be able to stop himself from farting everywhere. That's when he has to start covering up his own farts to save face, and luckily for him, people are hesitant to blame him for anything. He does sometimes feel like he should own up to it like Kel does...

Unlike Kel, Hero is VERY reserved with his farts. He only really lets himself fart openly around people he's super close to... so mainly Mari and Kel. When he does fart, he usually won't talk about it at all, unless it's loud or really foul, in which case a mild "sorry" is all he'll say. However, there is a bit of a thrill that he gets out of needing to hold in his farts in public and find a secluded place to let it rip. Those ones can get quite loud or long, so he better hope he found a good enough spot...

Kel and Hero definitely still have fart contests from time to time. For as proud as Kel secretly is about winning most of the time, Hero's forced him out of the room more often than either of them want to admit.

Mari secretly has a thing for Hero's farts. She likes cooking food for him that gives him lots of gas, and he'll happily air his guts out in her presence (though Mari does need to encourage him a bit if they stink badly). He farts a lot when being cuddled, and if he's notably windy, Hero becomes Mari's little spoon. If he farts in any less intimate situation (i.e silently in public), then she feels compelled to tease him for it.

Thank you for the ask! It's always a joy to see an appetite for Omori eprocto content out there

I ended up drafting a quick* list of headcanons, and then they just piled up...

The typical Kel fart is a deep, brassy burst of trashy funk that quickly fills the surrounding area. Usually he telegraphs them with something like "Hang on, I gotta fart" or "Wait, wait–" or just shifting a leg/cheek if he's alone

Kel is probably the gassiest of the bunch, but he's also by far the most open about farting, which greatly enhances his reputation. He'll fart openly around pretty much anyone he knows pretty well other than his mom, and doesn't bother checking if he's alone or not either

Kel doesn't actually have a fetish per se, but he definitely admires his own brand quite a lot

And if he knew someone who did have a fetish (like a certain ex-neighbour for instance), he'd give them their fill of his brew so often and so openly that people might catch on

He's very much 'better out than in' and thinks farting should be normalized. He sometimes bickers with Aub\rey or Basil about this and occasionally tries to convince them to change their minds

He's also farted on both of them before, on purpose and by accident respectively

Kel's perfectly fine with cheese since it's not as bad for him... but it's still bad. Like, BAD. Bad enough that almost nobody will help him through the bloating and incessant, nauseating bubblers that ensue. Not bad enough to stop him from inhaling entire pizzas though

Kel semi-privately prides himself on being gassier than Hero, who almost never farts around anyone. Whether this claim is true is something only Hero knows, and he doesn't want to answer it

This one isn't as much of a HC as the rest, but... Kel's locker-room farts have got to be awful. We're talking meaty bench-shaking rippers that give him an entire bench all to himself

Do you have any scenarios of sunny simping without kel noticing?

I can see kel farting on sunny as a joke and sunny having to pretend he doesn’t like it but totally blushing over it later loll (also I’m the person from the previous kel asks, i enjoyed your fanfic on ao3!)

I sorta already weaved a lot of scenarios of Kel being unknowingly simped for into that fanfic, so a lot of those scenarios (i.e Sunny taking Kel to Gino's) could apply here.

But other than those... I can totally see Kel walking into a seemingly empty room to loose a huge fart, not realizing that Sunny was there the entire time to hear (and smell) everything. That means Sunny's free to quietly sniff up as much as he possibly can without letting Kel find out what he's doing.

Or he could pretend to still be asleep while Kel tries to wake him up, to the point that Kel gets annoyed and decides to fart on Sunny's head. Not only is it really loud, but if Sunny doesn't get up and feign annoyance, it won't take long for him to get found out

Thanks for the ask! Basil lends himself to considerably different fart headcanons than Kel, he's sorta the opposite side of the spectrum. They make a nice duo, actually...

First of all, Basil is actually very flatulent thanks to his vegetarian diet. He might actually be the gassiest of anyone he knows, but the tradeoff of farting like a herbivorous mammal is that Basil's booty is more bark than bite. They carry a musty, earthy stink.

Basil's farts would normally be soft, deep, and puttering, but he's too vigilant and bashful to relieve that pressure when someone could hear him do it, so he holds it in a lot. It's not too uncommon that Basil ends up bloating himself or – much worse to him – slipping out loud squeakers uncontrollably. And when he does finally let loose, the results are explosively loud and HUGE.

While Basil can handle his own farts, his nose is too sensitive for him to deal with anyone else's (aside from Sunny's... maybe). But he's very bad at actually admitting to that, because he doesn't want to call anyone out for ripping foul ass and making the situation awkward.

I'd be remiss to not mention my HC for Basil having a fart kink, which is that he's turned on by the euphoric relief of finally releasing a fart he's been holding for hours, hearing the roar of his ass as further evidence of just how much gas he had just begging to be set free. (He may or may not go off like a bomb if a cute boy gave him tummy-rubs...)

What do you think a potential story would be for Kel and Hero being gassy mabey a holding contest and both would be extremely desperate or something

The main idea I've had is the two of them having a fart-off together, but I do have to admit that the idea of Hero and Kel daring each other to hold their farts in for an entire day sounds pretty fun.

...Although I do have to admit, the idea of Kel bearing witness to Hero coming home and degassing after a very long day is also a fun one...

hello! I’m the person from the last ask lol. I forgot to add this but what do you think a situation where hero got involved in blasting sunny be like? Say for instance Mari made him upset or something of that sort so him and kel use sunny as revenge? Also ty for answering my last!

It's sorta difficult for me to imagine Hero blasting anyone willingly, but it's not difficult to imagine Mari cooking something to gas him up, getting him and Sunny to spend some time together, and waiting for the fireworks to start.

Once Hero inevitably breaks the barrier, he won't be able to stop even if both of them want him to, and if he and/or Sunny actually prefers all that gas be passed? Kel might find himself dethroned.

Speaking of Kel, I also thought of another quick imagine for him and Hero both:

If Kel were to challenge Hero to a fart-off, Sunny can be a neutral judge for them. And what's Hero going to do, deny his brother a friendly competition? He can't make it too easy, after all...

Thank you for the kind words, and yes, I do have plans to publish something new soon-ish! The next one will be a yuri story featuring Aubrey.

You'll have to excuse how long it's been... after I published the last one a year ago, I sorta started ping-ponging between drafts without finishing any of them. It was only fairly recently that I got my act together again to focus on one story at a time.
