Anyways! I have found a pretty sick arg by @beabigshot called Nerves or @everplaythisgame, it's really cool and I'd suggest people to check it out! And I saw that making Nerves ocs is ok so...

Monty! Perhaps of the python type, I had a lot of fun designing this one!! They're a smug resident of... Wherever, really. They seem to show up wherever people don't want them, exactly when something goes wrong. They're very smug about everything, figures.

Fun Fact!: The snakes on their head are a separate, but attached, entity! Monty gave them all separate names but all the snakes are in a single hivemind, not controlled by Monty. Monty isn't sure if they can bite or not, or if they're venomous. So watch out, I guess!

so here's my epic Gimmick theories

so far in eptg 3 Nerves characters' Gimmicks have been confirmed:

Ranvier: Hate

Axon/Alex: Love

Mr. Maxilla: Guilt

i have a couple theories about some other characters though!!

King Birthday: Anger. i feel like i don't have to justify this one

Mayormom: Worry/Fear. literally the first time we see her this is what stands out, and we know she's incredibly protective of Cerebelle

Cerebelle: Memory. now THIS is the most interesting one and also mostly conjecture. but in the first post where Gimmicks were ever mentioned, Cerebelle says she can't Remember living anywhere other than Wheresville- with a capital R. i don't think there's any way this is an accident, as color and capitalization have been the two biggest things used to set apart important words, and this is the only time Cerebelle's capitalized a common noun (unless you count Gimmick which I'm not counting). another thing to consider, though it doesn't lend a lot of evidence to my theory, is that she's most likely named after the cerebellum, a part of the brain. the cerebellum is mostly associated with movement and balance though, but it IS also associated with procedural memory or muscle memory

now why Cerebelle's Gimmick possibly being to Remember is interesting to me because this opens the opportunity for a character to retain knowledge of events if the game is reset. i think this, aside from being the in-narrative game's protagonist, may end up being her central narrative role, and she may eventually even Remember the existence of Ranvier and the fact that Ron isn't from her world.

Unless someone is keeping her from doing that.

Now we know Axon is powerful, able to modify the game to large extents, block communications, and even brought Ron into Nerves from the outside world. And Cerebelle says she doesn't have her Gimmick yet, even though by all accounts she should.

So basically I think Axon is somehow suppressing Cerebelle's Gimmick to Remember.

no idea what Iris and Pupil's Gimmicks are though lol (if anyone has theories on them PLEASE add on)
