I'm quite young and I just read your post about the Vote No posters, and they make me sick, sick that I can't vote, sick that people are being denied their right and sick that if this doesn't go through it could effect me or my friends. You posted about 'Vote Yes Wexford' is this a thing? Where can I find out more about it? They're are no Vote No posters in my village and I would like it to stay that way. Thank you :)
Hi!
I’m sorry you won’t be able to vote in this referendum, but I’m glad that other youths in Ireland are interested in the affairs of our country, and the affect it has on people’s lives :)
‘Vote Yes Wexford’ is a thing, the website is called YesEqualityWexford, which contains lots of information on voting, how to get involved and has answers on questions about the upcoming referendum. There are links to their Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Youtube accounts, so there’s a variety of ways to get in contact with them.
I emailed them with my mom about the lack of ‘Vote Yes’ posters in my town, and they were very quick to get back to us, and posters are now up :)
You might not be able to keep any ‘Vote No’ posters out of your village, but you can definitely make sure that plenty of ‘Vote Yes’ ones go up and get our message heard!
I hope this was helpful, and feel free to send me a message any time! ♥
