Yes, this is real.
Yes, they experimented on (and hooked) entire generations on Barbiturates in the ‘50s and ‘60s.
My mother was one of them. When she had her pills, all was well.
When she didn’t have her pills? All was definitely not well.
They used to zone out kids on Nembutal!
