That was wrong of her to say, really. But god, lying in a situation like this was so hard. "I-it hurts..." Everything hurt. Even aside from her exterior injuries, her body just...wasn't taking it well. It was frail in the first place, still in its chronic recovery from her past traumatic injuries. Now it felt like she was being torn apart, and she didn't know what to do, how to fight it.

And honestly, she can't stop thinking she doesn't want to.
