‘I’m afraid there isn’t much of a secret, friend. The fangs you’re probably referring to are my venom teeth. If I bite someone with them they’re injected with a deadly venom that melts flesh. I can retract them though. Considering my twin sister had the same feature on her, it is probably a shadhavar trait for the bigger examples like us. I’m the last one around so I don’t have many other examples to go off of but research has suggested those particular fangs are only prominent on alphas. Other shadhavar keep them retracted except during hunts or fighting... Hmm. I hope this answers any questions. It is nice when people want to understand as opposed to assuming things.”

they had some pretty funny little tidbits, like X in X-nauts is actually pronounced cross, so they are cross-nauts, so as a clever play TEC-XX (the computer that talks to peach at the end of chapters) is TEC-double cross! funny right?

Oh my gracious, I didn’t know that. That’s so clever, and suddenly makes a lot of sense....... wow.

you know i think sometimes animals are weird what with some of the very strange actions they can do, then i remember some actual actions/reactions the human body can have :T

When my grandma was very little she complained about a stuffed nose, and when they went to the doctor, he gravely told her parents she had a massive nasal tumour that could possibly be cancerous

They were horrified and drove hours to a different clinic to get her seen by a specialist. She was rushed in emergency style and taken for an examination

She had a peanut lodged up her nose

that's not even the most terrifying animal fact(s) i know. the game the last of us? its disease based on a real fungal infection! given it only affect ants, specifically in parts of the world like africa. it never carried over to the U.S. but yeah it can infect ant colonies and wipe them out since it is highly contagious. luckily unlike the game the last of us it has no effect on humans, only ants!

The male angler fish has no existence beyond starvation and death by acid :D

All the big scary angler fish are female. The males are these teeny things that can’t do shit. The spend their life starving and follow the scent of female until they die or find her. Then they bite onto her body and dissolve their own faces with stomach acid until they wind up nothing but a sack of semen that she will use to fertilize her eggs when she’s ready

One female angler fish can have dozens of balls :)
