It was all a dream... I can remember, before graduating high school, before my first job, before getting married to my amazing wife, before the kids... way back Drawing sketches of shoes. I remember my dad working hard to provide for 4 kids, having to bury his first born, so having the latest and coolest brands was not an option I remember it was knowing how hard he worked for us that I disassociated success and being cool from rocking what everyone else had because my dad was and IS very cool and highly Successful to me and has always made me see myself in that light without those things I remember it was because of that mindset I even had the idea "skip those other brands, one day I will have my own shoe line...rock my own brand" and sketched my first shoe... I remember life happening and as it did it tried to dash away my dreams... but I learned through life who made me and the power He bestowed in me and the purpose He placed on me and that He is with me and that with Him all things are possible. I developed a relationship with Christ , which caused a development of several other relationships that taught me many life lessons that shaped my perspective and lead me to my motto "The Hustle makes The Dreams The Reality"...with that my dreams could never be dashed as I would never quit, no matter how long it takes... as long as there is breath in my lungs, I aint done! It is #TruthTuesday A lot of times we get in the way of our own blessings. A lot of time we mistake belief and decisions making for result producing actions.... those are key ingedients.... essential components... like an engine with gas in it....but if you never press the pedal you will remain in the same spot, with only yourself to blame! God gives us all the tools we need when we align ourselves with things that are not against His will... Some tools are shinier than others, some sharper and more efficient...but regardless the tool gets provided. The question is will you pick it up and utilize it? I say that to say this #TruthBomb... a lot of times people get presented with an opportunity one that is a clear answer to things they have prayed for, an answer that is not harmful to themselves or others, nor the representation of the body...but there is an apparent risk of failure... yet be it conscious or not... we ask to walk on water..we get told to step out the boat...then turn around and see "ok I gotta pray about it"...that ain't faith, that's fear, you scared! Whats up you amazing folks, it is #MotivationMonday Today I pose some challenging #questions... What are you going to do to MAKE sure that your 2018 is your best year yet? When #opportunities come will you continue to shy away from them or will you dare yourself to take a chance? Will you make sure that your list of great experiences is one of great length and the list of regrets is as blank as the expression of an uninterested Kanye? Will you stop letting "later" turn to "never" and take action now? I don't know about you but my calender never came with a "someday" I believe in you. I know that you have the power to make this year phenominal... all it takes is a decision! One decision... #Decide you will and that nothing can stop you. No way it's that easy! It is! Wise words of the day: God doesn't give you dreams that fit in your budget... There will always...ALWAYS be things in life that makes a moment not "perfect" but if an opportunity is presented to you... that is an answer to a prayer...and most people let it go right on by thinking the answer should have been more direct, like a million dollars out of thin air. So many of us ask guidance and when God tells us to go we hesitate or we sit back and wait with that "And then?" Face... we act like God has to reveal the whole plan to is before we make a move... here is a secret it's not called faith if you can see it all... Sometimes God's whole plan for You is just that... take that first step...once You do I will handle the rest... some times it is step 1 through 100... with number 20 to 70 uphill and number 80 to 100 through obstacles. Here is the thing we have to grasp... we are not called to know and build a complete agenda for we are called to TRUST and seek His WILL in our lives You reap what you sow so when He offers you seeds know they will grow! God is not checking you bank accounts, He is checking your faith! You ready to make some deposits that will have value when it's time to withdraw? Let me rephrase that... you ready to take action that requires your next step to be one of faith? #MotivationMonday #MillionaireMindset You have to first think you can before you can. This is why it is so important to be careful what you allow to occupy the space between your ears. That space is your cockpit and what ever you allow in there, be it damaging or reinforcing to your dreams will control the direction you take when things come your way. When an opportunity comes and you have the wrong co pilot you will treat it like an obstacle and avoid it... when there is a hurdle you will treat it like a stop sign or dead end sign and turn back... We have to be very aware because sometimes these damaging co pilots can be so subtle... they are not always boom in your face ha ha ha... You will never make it type of comments or ideas. Let no one or nothing tell you that your dream is impossible! At one point so was flight, yet someone invented the airplane. Sometimes you might hear something like "the sky is the limit" if we let that be our co pilot then we would never have made it to outer space.
