The smell of wild roses. It is a distant memory; Lafrenze wants to believe it’s a dream. She can feel the warm embrace of someone, holding her close to their chest. She isn’t quite sure where she is, but the person who holds onto her lovingly soothes her. Her cries mellow out and with a big sigh does she fall asleep. When she “awakens” she is held by rougher hands, but there is still warmth felt from them. The person who holds her close whispers something she can’t quite make out. But there is something relaxing, allowing for sleep to take her again.
