1. why is your character crying right now
he's always crying. he's rarely not crying. he's realized he's not remotely the cool mobster guy he wants to be and that he's pathetic and frail and breaks easily. he snapped a fingernail
2. what type of person would look condescendingly at your character and say 'we're not all that way' and why does your character hate that type of person
maybe his sister who he hates (loves) on principle. the Boring people who don't Understand his writing aka about everyone and that's a defense mechanism. people without brain problems because there's really no denying that there's something going on in his head but he doesn't acknowledge it as such so he gets bitter when people don't process the same way as he does
3. what kind of monster would do such a thing. what is that thing for your character
just about everything. he jerks it to stories he's written about hurting other people. he fantasizes about being a hardened criminal. his dream is to kill a man
4. how does your character react when their best friend reveals that they've had a life-long hobby of taxidermying animals
utter disgust and complete magnetized interest. that's fucking horrendous you still stink of it i want to see show me
5. your character has picked up something that disturbs other people, because it's gross or weird or otherwise. what is that thing
old clothes. pieces of his own hair. he's very protective of his hair he probably keeps bits that fall out
6. what's that moment from their lifetime that your characters hates thinking about, the one that makes them shudder like someone's drawn their nails down a chalkboard
mostly all of his childhood when he was Normal quote unquote because he can't stand the idea of being average or being dependent on other people. he gets memories of like playing on a swingset with his sister or eating dinner with his family and he screams and throws stuff
7. is there anything or anyone that your character cherishes so much that they'd kill it/them to keep them the same
he's too frightened to kill anything. he's too frightened to cherish anything
8. where is the messiest place in your character's home
his whole room. it's also the only place that seems lived in at all largely cause he rarely leaves it
9. what's that thing everyone else likes but your character doesn't
he dislikes popular things as a rule more or less. he rarely reads because he hates most popular authors or so he says sometimes when he reads his own stuff and thinks it seems too much like an author's style he'll just burn the notebook in a trash can
10. how would your character act if they had to talk to the people they've hurt - the families of people they've killed, the victims of crimes, etc
a panic attack and intense crying and swearing and falling apart
11. who does your character miss the most
sister. family. he hates them he loves them
12. does your character feel relieved or exhausted after they've cried
exhausted as hell so he indulges in more sleeping and crying and sleeping
13. when did they become who they are today
recently. he made an active choice when he left home that he was actually going to follow through on a messy nigh impossible dream that most people fall into without choice he was nineteen twenty and he let himself do all the horrid shit he couldn't at home
14. if your character could go back in time, what person from the past would your character kill
his parents maybe. maybe before he was born. his sister so he wouldn't be dependent on someone. (lose valeriev so he could take that position instead lol)
15. someone makes the effort to court your character. how do they respond
internal panic but outwardly haha of course you want me. internal panic. internal panic because he doesn't really know how to formulate the proper emotions in response and it kinda feels like something in him's disconnected and it makes him mad
