Naturally, when Nao is told to stay after class is dismissed, she immediately figures it’s something she did wrong. Though she’s certain she couldn’t have done anything, her mind still races with endless ways this conversation could go. Everyone knew of Aizawa’s track record of suspensions as a teacher. Fidgeting under his intense stare, her eyes drop down to the manila folder before flitting up to meet his.
At the other’s words Nao sits up straighter, nervousness suddenly replaced with determination. “I am.. aware of that, yes.” She already knew of the many dangers she’d be putting herself in. Underground heroes likely faced far worse things than the well known ones. Though until she met Aizawa sensei she didn’t even know underground heroism was possible. “But I want to be a hero simply to help others. I don’t need to be on the news to do that.” And If she was being completely honest, she hated being on camera and as the center of attention. And she hated how heroes were only seen as these supernatural beings when they were all just humans doing what they can to help.
