he was busy cleaning up dishes after dinner with his master and a few other servants. ritsuka and the others left for various reasons, so he was left to clean up on his own. which was fine with him. he had come to appreciate time alone in spite of his mind being his only company.
emiya had been at this awhile before, when he moved to put away a few dishes, noticed someone. the dishes crashed to the ground in his shock, because fate couldn’t be so cruel to him. first artoria, now ... no, there was no way that was her. the hair color was different, and ... she couldn’t have possibly become a servant. he simply stood and stared, looking completely unlike his normal composed self. even with shards of broken glass all around him. // @ereshkgl

" with a small huff, she put down her current project to help him. her hands gently rested on his as she guided them to properly handle the metal. normally this would have flustered her, but her mind was focused on one of her only hobbies, one of the only things she knew how to do the best.
he tended to be gentle with crafting projects such as this. he knew the bars were metal, but he was still afraid of ruining it somehow. he didn’t expect ereshkigal to stop to help him, though. nor did he expect her to actually guide his hands. he felt a little embarrassed, but he let her guide him.
