it's fine to not use the split attraction model, at the same time - it's important to be informed on why other people deem it a necessary tool for describing their orientation
the conflicting attitude around sam is so strange to me, even in aro and ace spaces a surprising amount of ppl speak like they're unaware of other anattractional spectrums
if that's the case it needs to change
there's no shame in simply not-being-in-the-know. it's another thing to know and deny the fact some people deem other attractions equally or more important to their identity than romantic or sexual
