Eric couldn't quite remember when his feelings for Minji changed. He'd always enjoyed the time they spent together, but somehow, he'd begun to want more time with her. He'd never admitted it to anyone out loud, and he'd barely made sense of what it was himself. He returned the embrace, the smell of her perfume instantly lifting his mood further. "I'm only on my first glass, so you don't have too much catching up to do," he said as he stepped back. "Here?" Eric swiveled the barstool for her. He touched his lips in thought, a little unsure whether he should ask, but his curiosity got the best of him. "Are you here with someone?"

Eric couldn't help the widening of his smile. "Well, I like to think we both have great taste," he started, leaning against the backrest of one of the stools, trying to appear as casual as possible, as if he wasn't ecstatic to have seen her that evening. "-- so it's not too surprising we find ourselves in the same place." His gaze flickered momentarily to the empty seat next to hers, and he wondered, fleetingly, what idiot decided to blow his chance for an evening with her. "I guess we find ourselves alone together on Valentine's day, huh?" His tone was light as he slipped into the seat next to her. "So are you here for the drinks or for the food?"
